2021 Ducati XDiavel launched in India
The 2021 Ducati XDiavel super cruiser has been launched in India. The motorcycle is launched in two variants – Dark and Black Star – which are priced at Rs 18 lakh and Rs. 22.60 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The motorcycle is powered by a BS6-compliant 1,262cc, L-twin engine that generates 158bhp of max power @ 9,500rpm and 127Nm of peak torque @ 5,000rpm. Interestingly, that’s 8bhp and 2Nm less than the previous BS4 version, but 80 percent of the torque is now available from 2,100rpm.
Black Star is the more premium variant of the two which features an adjustable 50mm USD front fork with DLC treatment, forged gloss black rims that help reduce the weight of the bike by 2kg, a high-grip suede fabric seat, Ducati Multimedia System, full LED headlights with DRLs and dual 320mm front disc brakes.
Standard on both variants of the 2021 Ducati XDiavel are riding modes, power modes, Cornering ABS, launch control, traction tontrol, cruise control, a 3.5-inch TFT colour instrument panel, hands-free, and backlit handlebar switches.
The competition of the XDiavel in India includes the Triumph Rocket 3 and the Harley Davidson Fat Boy.
