2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 launched at Rs 1.84 lakh
The long-awaited 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been launched in India at Rs 1.84-2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered in 5 variants, all with different styling elements.
In its new generation, India’s best-selling retro motorcycle comes with a new 349cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that’s borrowed from the Meteor 350. The new Classic generates 20.2bhp of max power and 27Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The chassis on the new bike is also all-new. The frame is now a double-downtube unit. At the front, the bike sports a fatter 41mm telescopic fork. The ground clearance is now also significantly more at 170mm. The kerb weight is 195kg.
When it comes to braking, all variants, save for the base Redditch, get dual disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. The Redditch version only gets a front 300mm disc with 2-piston floating caliper.
Despite looking almost the same as its predecessor, the 2021 Classic 350 now offers modern equipment such as a tripper metre and USB charger.
