2022 BMW X3 facelift launched in India
The updated 2022 BMW X3 facelift has been launched starting at Rs 59.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, only a petrol engine is on offer.
2022 X3 facelift has been updated with a wider single-piece kidney grille to put it in line with the larger X5 and X7. Reworked front air dams give the vehicle a more angular look, while the LED headlights have been made smaller and given a new L-shaped design.
The LED taillights have been slimmed down, and black accents have been added to the rear part. In order to distinguish the M Sport version of the SUV from the standard model, BMW has included more aggressive design features. Customers who pre-order the vehicle will be able to obtain 20-inch wheels instead of the normal 19-inch ones.
Inside the 2022 BMW X3 facelift there’s a new layout. As a result, the air vents, temperature and audio controls have been slimmed down to a more compact design. More of the console is angled toward the driver, and a smaller bank of physical buttons has been added to the tunnel in the middle of the dash.
It has a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay on the M Sport level, and a new 12.3-inch digital instrumentation for the driver as well.
Added to the X3’s interior are new finishes and upholstery in the M Sport level, as well as a leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and other M-specific interior equipment. Features include a panoramic sunroof, three-zone temperature control, six ambient lighting themes and motorised seats for the M Sport model, as well as a Harman Kardon sound system.
Features like an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and traction control are all included in this model’s safety package.
Facelifted BMW X3 comes with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in its xDrive30i form. Powered by an eight-speed ZF gearbox and AWD, this engine produces 252 horsepower and 350Nm of torque. In addition to Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ settings, an electronic differential locker in the M Sport model provides adjustable dampers and a variable torque splitter to the rear wheels.
