2022 Kawasaki Versys 1000 launched in India
India In India, Kawasaki Motors has released the 2022 Versys 1000, which costs Rs 11.55 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The model year 2022 version of this touring motorbike will be delivered to new customers in the middle of November in a single Candy Lime Green Type 3 colour choice.
The 2022 Versys 1000 includes LED headlights, an adjustable flyscreen, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a power outlet, and a lot of electronics, all built on an aluminium twin-tube chassis. Electronic throttle valves, cruise control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Functions (KCMF), traction control, and ABS are among the significant features.
It’s still driven by a 1043cc 4-cylinder engine that puts out 120 horsepower at 9000 RPM and 102Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. It’s mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The adventure tourer weighs 255 kg and is equipped with a 21-litre petrol tank and 17-inch wheels with a 120-section front tyre and 180-section rear rubber.

2022 Versys 1000’s braking system includes dual 310 mm discs with radial mount 4-piston callipers up front and a 250 mm rear disc with a single piston calliper. It also has an adjustable 43 mm inverted front fork (150 mm travel) and an adjustable gas-charged rear monoshock with 152 mm travel.
Kawasaki India has also announced the launch of K-CARE for the Versys 1000 in 2022. This bundle includes a four-year extended warranty and a yearly maintenance contract.
This motorcycle continues to be a road-biased tourer that’s aligned more towards long highway rides. It is not really off-road friendly because there’s no long travel suspension, spoked wheels or knobby tyres.
