2022 KTM RC390, RC200, RC125 leaked
The next-generation 2022 KTM RC390, RC200, and RC125 have been leaked online, and well, the new motorcycles look pretty polarising.
Aesthetically, the new bikes gain a pretty odd-looking new headlamp that’s inspired by KTM’s Adventure series of motorcycles. This, combined with what looks like fairing-integrated fins and LOUD colour schemes, make up for a pretty oddball supersport.
From the leaks, it looks like the position of the handlebars and footpegs have also been altered on the new 2022 RC390/RC200 to make up for a slightly more relaxed riding posture.
A closer look also reveals a new fully adjustable WP Apex USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. However, it is speculated that the former could only be offered on the international-spec versions and India-spec 2022 RC series will have to do with non-adjustable USD forks.
Then, at least on the RC390, the instrument cluster will consist of an all-new colour display unit with Bluetooth for smartphone connectivity, the same that’s found on the 390 Duke.
On the powertrain front, the upcoming two bikes will use the same engines which are found on the outgoing models, which in turn are shared with the Duke series.
