2022 Toyota Glanza facelift launch soon
A teaser image of the forthcoming Glanza facelift has been released by Toyota. It is on March 15, that this vehicle will be unveiled and will likely hit showrooms soon afterwards.
As expected, the Glanza facelift will be built on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Thankfully, the teaser image confirms that it won’t be a lazy badge-swapping job which Toyota did with the pre-facelift cars.
The teaser shows a new bespoke grille on the Glanza facelift, as well as a different front bumper. This will ensure that this hatchback is more in line with Toyota’s design language. However, we expect its rear end to be more or less similar to that of the 2022 Baleno.
Again, the 2022 Glanza’s interior will be very similar to the Baleno’s. It will have a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, automated climate control, cruise control, six airbags, and electronic stability control.
The new hatchback will have the same 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine as the new Baleno. It produces 89 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque and is slated to be available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
