AirPods 3: Price in India, new features and more
The long-rumoured Apple AirPods 3 truly-wireless earbuds have finally gone official.
AirPods 3 price in India
The new Apple AirPods 3 price in India has been set at Rs 18,500.
AirPods 3 specifications
The new Adaptive EQ adjusts sound in real-time based on how the new AirPods fit in your ear, which is useful given that this type of earbud doesn’t offer a seal. As a result, the Adaptive EQ attempts to adjust the low and mid frequencies to compensate for what may be lost owing to fit differences.
The AirPods 3 feature spatial audio, and with Dolby Atmos, the sound is distributed all around the user. When you remove either AirPod from your ear, the in-ear detection sensor immediately pauses playing.
In phone calls, beamforming microphones cancel away background noise, concentrating on your voice and allowing you to talk hands-free. Hey Siri is also supported. Siri may also read you crucial time-sensitive notifications, including those from Messages, Reminders, Calendar, and calls, as well as alerts from third-party apps that use the needed API.
AirPods 3 also support MagSafe, allowing you to charge them wirelessly with a MagSafe charger. The earphones are now part of the Find My network of devices, which includes proximity view and Lost Mode in the Find My app, as well as separation warnings and noises.
It’s a shame that these earbuds do not support active noise cancellation, which is to be expected at a price tag this exorbitant. However, Apple has probably done this to keep the AirPods Pro relevant.
AirPods 3 battery life
Battery life is now rated at six hours from the earbuds themselves, with the case providing four additional full charges for a total of 30 hours. Additionally, there’s fast charging – five minutes of charging provides about an hour of battery life.
