AirPods Pro with noise cancellation, water resistance launched
- The new Apple AirPods Pro have been launched globally. There are priced in India at Rs 24,900, but the exact shipping date is not yet revealed.
- When compared to standard AirPods, the AirPods Pro come with a significant change – interchangeable earbuds. There’s also a new ‘Ear Tip Fit Test’ where algorithms on the AirPods Pro can detect if the ear tip is of the right size.
- The active noise cancellation (ANC) system on these earbuds has two mics, one facing outward and the other inward. The on-board transparency mode enables some background noise to be passed through the earbuds.
- For better audio quality, the AirPods Pro have Adaptive EQ, which, as per Apple, can tune the low & mid frequencies of music to the shape of an individual’s ear. One final new feature for the AirPods Pro is called It can also suggest if you just need to adjust the tips for a better seal.
- For connectivity, there’s the same H1 chip on board which allows seamless connectivity with Apple devices. The AirPods Pro are claimed to last for 5 hours on a single charge, but when combined with the case, the time goes up to 24 hours. Wireless charging is also supported.
