Android 12 may launch on this day
The lengthy wait for Android 12 may be over, as a fresh rumour claims that the new version of Google’s operating system will be released in the first week of October. To be more precise, Android 12 is expected to begin rolling out on October 4 to Pixel phones, with a wider release to follow.
The indication comes from a new tweet from Google, which states that the open-source AOSP version of Android 12 will be released on October 4. Because the AOSP is frequently released concurrently with the stable release of an Android version, it is expected that Android 12 will be released on the same day.
Of course, this is only for Google Pixel phones at first. Those anticipating the Android 12 upgrade on other brand smartphones will have to wait much longer.

When a new Android version is released, a small number of Android OEMs are quick to update their devices. Many, on the other hand, take far longer, usually releasing it months after the formal launch.
The October 4 date also coincides with Google’s upcoming Pixel lineup’s expected debut date. Google is anticipated to debut its all-new Pixel 6 series on this day. The smartphones will almost certainly make their debut with the latest Android version.
Furthermore, it has been rumoured that pre-orders for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will begin on October 19. By October 28, the phones will be widely available in their initial launch markets, which, sadly, do not include India.
