Apple MagSafe battery pack launched at Rs 10,900
Apple is back at it again. The company has launched a new MagSafe battery pack for its iPhone 12 series at Rs 10,900. Globally, it will cost USD 99.
In classic Apple fashion, the battery pack’s capacity has not been revealed, but a report by 9to5Mac claims it to be a measly 1,460mAh. So yes, 1,450mAh with magnets for Rs 10,900.
The MagSafe Battery Pack will charge your iPhone at just 5W when not connected. However, it can charge faster at up to 15W when plugged into a 27W or higher charger via a USB-C to lightning cable.
Of course, the cable and adaptor are sold separately. What were you expecting?
Since MagSafe is Apple’s proprietary technology, no one knows if this battery pack will be compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard or not.
