Audi RS5 Sportback launched in India
The Audi RS5 Sportback has been launched in India at Rs 1.04 crore (ex-showroom). This is the more practical 4-door version of this car, unlike the previous 2-door coupe model which was sold here a while back.
Under the hood of the 2021 Audi RS5 lies a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that generates 443bhp of max power and 600Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed gearbox which feeds power to all four wheels via the Quattro system.
The 2021 RS5 has super saloon levels of performance because it can dismiss the 0-100km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h.
When compared to its lesser A5 and S5 derivatives, the RS5 offers a sport suspension, a self-locking centre differential, and two RS drives modes that can alter the power delivery, gear shift times, and steering sensitivity.
In India, the 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback rivals the recently launched AMG E53 that’s priced at Rs 1.02 crore. However, the latter is a proper sedan, while the former is a 4-door coupe with a sportier visual appeal.
