Benelli 502C India launch soon
Benelli India has opened pre-bookings of the 502C cruiser for a token amount of Rs 10,000.
If this bike looks familiar, then here’s a quick reminder that it mimics the popular Ducati Diavel. Sure, copying from a rival brand does not suit a company that has a rich heritage, but Benelli has a Chinese parent, after all.
Anyway, the Benelli 502C will expand the company’s 500cc lineup in India which already includes the Leoncino and TRK 502. In fact, the powertrain is shared as well – a 500cc inline twin with 47bhp and 46Nm.
The Bike has a tubular steel trellis frame. Other cycle parts include a non-adjustable 41mm USD front fork, a monoshock, twin 280mm front discs and a 240mm disc at the rear.
Expected to be priced between Rs 4-5 lakh ex-showroom, the Benelli 502C should arrive in showrooms in end-July.
