BMW X1 sDrive 20i Tech Edition launched in India
The new BMW X1 sDrive 20i Tech Edition is priced at Rs 43 lakh (ex-showroom) and it serves as the new top-end variant of this small premium SUV.
Around Rs 1.7 lakh more expensive than the XLine variant, the Tech Edition offers larger 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/50 section rubber, a larger 10.25-inch infotainment display, head-up display, wireless charging, and a 7-speaker sound system.
Powering the BMW X1 sDrive 20i is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that’s tuned to generate 189bhp of power and 280Nm of torque. A dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox comes standard here.
This new variant has been launched to keep the BMW X1 fresh, which is now older than its chief rivals – the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Volvo XC40. Audi is also expected to launch the new Audi Q3 soon in India, however, we’ve been hearing this ‘soon’ since eternity…
