2023 BMW X7 facelift unleashed
The flagship BMW X7 SUV has been around for a while, and now we have its first substantial facelift since it was introduced in 2017.
The 2023 BMW X7 receives a striking new front look, a slightly redesigned rear, new gizmos on the interior, and greater power and torque in this mid-cycle makeover.
The new SUV is expected to arrive in India shortly, maybe before the end of the year, and will almost certainly cost more than the current X7’s starting price of Rs 1.17 crore.

First and foremost, let’s talk about style. The most noticeable modification is the new split headlamp design, which will be seen on the upcoming 7 Series and i7 versions as well.
Redesigned taillights and reprofiled front and rear bumpers are also included in the 2023 X7. A light-up grille is also available as an option.

The new 2023 X7 has the same overall layout as the previous model, but the dashboard is fashioned differently, with a new 14.9-inch infotainment screen on top, flanked by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, both driven by the new iDrive 8 operating system.

The 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine that powers the X7 xDrive40i produces 375bhp and 520Nm, which is 47bhp and 70Nm more than previously.
The 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine in the xDrive40d produces 347bhp and 700Nm. The M60i is the top-of-the-line model, with a 4.4-litre V8 engine that produces 523bhp and 750Nm.
Integral Active Steering and Active Roll Stabilization are also available on the X7 M60i.
The former is simply BMW’s name for a variable-ratio steering rack, which enhances both low- and high-speed handling.
