Boat Stone 700A speaker launched with in-built Alexa support
- The new Boat Stone 700A is a new smart wireless speaker which supports Amazon’s Alexa voice AI. It’s priced at Rs 3,299.
- The device has a dedicated Alexa button which can be used to trigger the AI. Furthermore, Boat claims that users can register with Amazon Alexa to enable the functionality of the service.
- The biggest advantage of the 700A is its wireless capability thanks to its 2,000mAh battery. In case you do not know, all of Amazon’s own Echo devices need a continuous wired power source to operate, which hinders their portability.
- The Boat speaker consists of two 5W full range drivers for audio output. Audio can be played via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm AUX cable.
- As an icing on the cake, the Boat 700A is not only IPX6 rated for water and dust resistance, but also sports a rugged design which is claimed to be drop resistant.
