Bose QC45 revealed with 24-hour battery life, better sound
The Bose QC45 over-ear noise-canceling headphones have debuted for USD 329. This marks the return of the company’s famous Quiet Comfort series after almost 4 years.
The QC45 retains the characteristic design of its predecessor but incorporates new features like USB-C charging, up to 24 hours of battery life, and an additional mic for better voice pickup.
Active noise cancellation is still very present here. There are two modes, Quiet and Aware, the former blocks all t external noise while the latter is a fancy name for transparency mode.
Charging the QC45 from 0-100 percent is claimed to take 2.5 hours. There’s also a quick charge mode where a 15-minute top-up provides up to 3 hours of music playback.
From the looks of it, the new QuietComfort 45 does not look like a major update over the Bose 700 headphones. It is not known as of now if the former is intended to be a replacement for the latter.
