Facelifted TUV300 teased as the Mahindra Bolero Neo
The Mahindra TUV300 is officially history. Say hello to the Mahindra Bolero Neo, the old wine in a new bottle. The upcoming SUV has been officially teased on Twitter.
Camouflaged test mules this vehicle has been seen on tests a numerous number of times for well over 18 months. It looks like Mahindra is finally confident enough to launch the vehicle in the market.
The Bolero Neo will be sold alongside the standard Bolero which sells in remarkable numbers keeping its age and bare-bones nature in mind.
There is no hiding the fact that the Bolero Neo is a renamed TUV300. The only prominent change the former will get is a redesigned face and some minor changes to the rear. The 1.5-litre diesel engine from the TUV is expected to be carried over.
Basically, this is the same unsuccessful practice that Mahindra followed a few years back with the Quanto-NuvoSport. Only time can tell if it will work this time around.
