Google Pixel 5a launch soon; may not come to India
Previously rumoured to be cancelled, the yet-unannounced Google Pixel 5a is back on the radar with its expected launch taking place in August 2021, according to Bloomberg.
The upcoming affordable Pixel is said to go on sale only in the USA and Japan, thereby putting its India availability in question. However, not many will miss it, since the current Pixel 4a isn’t setting any sales charts on fire anyway.
While nothing is confirmed, the upcoming Pixel 5a said to feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a dual-rear camera setup, Snapdragon 765G SoC and up to 6GB of RAM.
Aesthetically, not much will change on the Pixel 5a as compared to the Pixel 5 and 4a. It is likely to get a plastic unibody construction with a square camera island and an old-school rear capacitive fingerprint reader.
