Google Pixel Fold, Pixel Watch may debut alongside Pixel 6
A tipster on Twitter has suggested that the Google Pixel Fold foldable smartphone, as well as the long-awaited Google Pixel Watch, will finally go official this year on October 19, the same day that the Pixel 6 series will launch.
While we cannot authenticate the credibility of this tipster, if this rumour is true, then October 19 will surely be the most exciting Google hardware event to ever take place!
Google Pixel Fold
Google revealed its work on foldable smartphone prototypes in 2019. In Android 10, the firm included native support for foldable screens, which aided companies like Samsung.
While the Pixel Fold is said to have a foldable OLED display made of low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO), the Android maker is yet to officially announce whether or not it aims to develop a commercially viable foldable phone.
But, if it is a reality, we can expect it to share a lot with the Pixel 6 Pro, including Google’s new in-house SoC called Tenor.

Google Pixel Watch
The Pixel Watch has been up in the rumour mill since 2019, but it has never come to life. However, here we are again in 2021 with yet another rumour.
Google’s watch may have a circular display and will be released in October. Google also announced a partnership with Samsung to develop WearOS 3 earlier this year. The latter has already released its Galaxy Watch 4 series based on the said software.
Google Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro
In addition to its offbeat new design and Google’s own Tensor SoC, the Pixel 6 series will bring a brand new camera setup, which, when combined with the company’s ground-breaking image processing, should make for one amazing camera phone.
A 50MP primary camera, a 48MP telephoto module, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera will likely be included in the Pro version.
Samsung’s 1/1.31″ GN1 sensor with 1.2 m pixels, 4-in-1 binning, and Dual Pixel autofocus should be the primary sensor. This sensor will also be utilised in the smaller Pixel 6, according to a rumour. The telephoto camera, on the other hand, will be exclusive to the Pro and will feature a 4x magnification.
