Honda Amaze facelift India launch next month
A new report claims that the Honda Amaze facelift will launch in India on August 17.
As the sub-4m sedan segment steadily gets eaten up by compact SUVs, the Amaze has been one of the 3 compact sedans to still sell in reasonable numbers, the other two being the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura.
The 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will not bring anything major to the table. While not official, it will feature a refreshed design with a new grille, updated bumpers, and a different design for the alloy wheels.
On the inside, expect updated cabin colours, new upholstery, and a few feature additions including the rumored sunroof, which will make it the first compact sedan to feature one.
Don’t expect many changes under the bonnet, however. The Honda Amaze facelift will continue to offer two engines – an 89bhp petrol and a 99bhp diesel. Both will be mated to either a 5-speed manual or CVT gearboxes.
