Honor Band 5 launched in India
- Huawei has launched the Honor Band 5 fitness tracker in India at Rs 2,599. It will be sold via Flipkart in 3 colour options – Midnight Navy, Coral Pink and Meteorite Black.
- It sports a 0.95-inch 2.5D AMOLED display which can show up to 45 characters. Honor’s new Watch Face Store is claimed to offer users a wide variety of watch faces for different scenarios such as home, office, gym, etc.
- In terms of information, the Honor Band 5 can show workout time, calories burnt, distance, stride frequency, speed, and aerobic/anaerobic training results. The onboard motion detection feature is capable of providing users with up to 10 sports modes.
- It also monitors your heart rate and sleep. In fact, Honor claims that using its AI-powered algorithms, the Band 5 can remind users of abnormal heart rates.
- The smart wearable is certified to 5ATM standards for water-resistance. Its 100mAh battery can provide up to 14 days of backup on a single charge.
