Honor V30, Honor V30 Pro official
- The Honor V30 and V30 Pro have been revealed in China. Globally, these phones will be called View 30 and View 30 Pro, respectively.
- Both phones come with 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD displays with a Samsung S10+ like pill-shaped hole punch for the selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner here is a capacitive unit which is side-mounted.
- The Honor V30 and V30 Pro also have triple rear cameras where the primary sensor is the 40MP Sony IMX600 with Dual OIS and laser autofocus. However, the Pro model has an aperture of f/1.6 versus the standard model’s f/1.8.
- Then, there’s an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom on both phones. The ultra-wide camera, however, is a 12MP f/2.2 unit on the Pro model which is optimised for 16:9 video recording. The standard V30 gets an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera instead.
- Powering these phones is Huawei’s flagship Kirin 990 SoC which is 5G-capable. The RAM option is 6GB/ 8GB, and both phones launch with Android 10 along with custom Magic UI.
- The battery capacity on the Honor V30 is 4,200mAh while the Pro has a slightly smaller 4,100mAh cell. Honor’s powerful 40W SuperCharge comes standard on both phones, but the latter also gets 27W wireless fast charging.
