How to add a link to your Instagram Stories
Instagram has finally made the link-sharing capability available to all of its users in Stories. According to the social media platform, link stickers may be used by anybody from corporations to activists to connect out to external sites.
Swipe up, which was how Instagram users could previously connect out to other webpages from their Stories is now completely discontinued and replaced by sticker links. This function is now more generally available than swipe up, which was limited only to verified accounts or those with more than 10,000 followers.
In addition, unlike the swipe-up link Stories, which did not enable any interaction, Link stickers will allow Story viewers to respond to it and communicate with the account.
You’ll have to touch on the Link sticker to visit the URL, as opposed to the swipe-up link functionality, which required you to swipe up on the Story to view the webpage.
Accounts that regularly publish things like hate speech and disinformation, or anything that violates their Community Guidelines, according to the social media service, will lose access to this new feature.
