Huawei P30 Pro, P30 Lite launched in India
Two phones from Huawei’s latest P30 series – P30 Pro and P30 Lite – have arrived in India. The standard P30 hasn’t been launched here.
Huawei P30 Pro
- The P30 Pro is priced at Rs 71,990 and it will exclusively be sold via Amazon India. Customers can also avail the Huawei Watch GT (Rs 15,990) for just Rs 2,000 extra along with the phone.
- The phone is Huawei’s photography powerhouse of this year. It features a quad rear camera setup that proudly boasts of an 8MP periscope zoom sensor with 50x hybrid zoom.
- The primary rear camera here is a 40MP f/1.6 sensor with custom RYYB colour filter arrays. This sensor is accompanied by an ultrawide 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor as well as a ToF sensor.
- The phone has a curved 6.47-inch AMOLED curved screen with a waterdrop notch that holds it 32MP selfie shooter. There’s also an optical fingerprint scanner under the display.
- Under the hood is Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 SoC. The variant that’s been launched in India has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The battery here is a 4,200mAh unit with Huawei’s 40W SuperCharge support.
Huawei P30 Lite
- The P30 Lite is priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 22,990 for the 4GB/ 128GB and 6GB/ 128GB variants, respectively. It will also be exclusively sold through Amazon India.
- It’s powered by the Kirin 710 SoC and gets a 3,340mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
- Up front, the P30 Lite has a 6.15-inch FHD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch holding its 32MP camera.
- At the rear, it has triple cameras which consist of a 24MP f/1.8 primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
