Hyundai Venue bookings open in India
- The upcoming Hyundai Venue can now be officially booked in India for an amount of Rs 21,000. The car can either be booked on the Hyundai India website or through Hyundai dealerships across the country.
- The Venue is the first sub-4-metre compact SUV from Hyundai and it is aimed at the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.
- This upcoming car is also India’s first connected vehicle as it comes with the new AI-based BlueLink system which connects the car to the cloud via an inbuilt Vodafone SIM. This enables a host of connectivity features on the vehicle. You can read about all the BlueLink features here.
- The Venue will share its 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines with the popular i20 hatchback. However, it will also get a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine making 118 bhp/ 172 Nm along with the option of a first-in-class 7-speed dual clutch auto gearbox.
- The Hyundai Venue will launch in India on May 21, 2019. Expect it to be priced between Rs 7.5-12 lakh, ex-showroom.
