iPhone 13 Apple Event scheduled for September 14

This year’s autumn Apple Event is officially confirmed to stream online on September 14.

The company’s most important event of the year comes in September when it unveils the new generation of its halo product, the iPhone. It also comes in time for India’s Diwali shopping season and the global holiday shopping season.

What will undoubtedly be present at this Apple event is the new iPhone series – iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The iPhone 13 is finally expected to join the 120Hz high refresh rate race, however, only on the Pro and Pro Max series. Also likely is a new, smaller display notch on all models.

It’s also fair to expect that Apple will release an upgraded version of its wearable called the Apple Watch 7. The sixth-generation model was released in September of last year, and it included features such as a blood oxygen sensor, an ECG, and a lower-cost SE edition.

However, rumours suggest that the global chip shortage might delay the Apple Watch 7. So, even if Apple reveals it on September 14, it may hit the market a bit later.

Apple AirPods may get an update this year, according to a prior rumour. The AirPods 3 is likely to include similar features to the AirPods Pro, including spatial audio compatibility, a thinner stem, interchangeable ear tips, and a more compact charging case.

iPhone 13 series expected price

The price of the iPhone 13 series is expected to remain unchanged vis a viz the iPhone 12 series. However, this rumour is for US pricing. Apple already sells iPhones at a whopping ~35% inflated price tag in India, so don’t expect that to change.
