The design more or less remains the same. Flat edges and rounded corners are once again combined in an IP68-rated metal shell on the iPhone 13 and 13 mini. However, the characteristic notch has shrunk by 20 percent this time around.
The rear cameras are also diagonally placed on these smartphones to distinguish them from the iPhone 12.

The Super Retina XDR screens’ diagonals remain the same – 5.4 inches for the iPhone 13 mini and 6.1 inches for the iPhone 13. The panels themselves are 28 percent brighter, with maximum outdoor brightness of 800 nits and peak HDR brightness of 1200 nits. The new panels support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG standards when it comes to HDR.
Disappointingly, 120Hz display refresh rate is something you won’t get with the vanilla iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 MIni as it’s reserved for the Pro models.

The new iPhone 13 and 13 mini are powered by an all-new Apple A15 bionic processor. The A15 is the quickest processor in any contemporary smartphone, according to Apple. Given Apple’s past record, this claim may very well be true.
The A15 is based on a 5nm manufacturing node and contains two high-performance CPU cores and four additional high-efficiency ones.
While the GPU is shared across all iPhone 13 models, including the Pro versions, it’s worth noting that the A15 within the vanilla iPhone 13 and the 13 mini have four GPU cores instead of the five found in their more expensive siblings.

On the rear of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are two cameras, the main one with a 12MP sensor with 1.7m pixels and a 26mm f/1.6 lens, and the secondary one with a 12MP sensor with 1.7m pixels and a 26mm f/1.6 lens.
That main sensor appears to be the same one found on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It also gets sensor-shift stabilisation. The ultra-wide lens also includes a new sensor.
The new 12MP selfie camera on the front supports the increasingly popular Centre Stage function, which follows you around in the picture automatically and allows you to fit more people into the frame.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will be available in three storage configurations. In India, the Mini 128GB costs Rs 69,900, the 256GB version costs Rs 79,900, and the 512GB version costs Rs 99,900. The iPhone 13 price in India will be Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900, and Rs 109,900, respectively.
