Jawa Perak launched at Rs 1.95 lakh
- The Jawa Perak bobber has been launched in India at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Its bookings will open on January 2 next year, while the deliveries will commence from April 2.
- The Perak, which is India’s first factory custom bobber, features a longer swingarm, single seat, rear monoshock, different toolbox design and matt black engine/ spokes. In all, it looks a lot different from the standard Jawa and Forty Two.
- Powering this bike is a BSVI-compliant 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 30.3 bhp of max power and 31Nm of peak torque. For comparison, this is around 3 bhp and 3 Nm more than the other two Jawas.
- For braking, the Jawa Perak uses disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS offered as standard. There’s no single-channel ABS option here.
