Lamborghini Huracan STO, Merc E-Class AMG India launch on July 15
Lamborghini Huracan STO
The Huracan STO is the most extreme version of the Italian brand’s entry-level supercar. It basically, is a race-spec Huracan that’s homologated for street use. Now that’s something!
It generates 30hp and 15Nm more versus the standard Huracan, which amps up its power and torque figures to 640hp and 565Nm, respectively. Consequently, it can achieve 0-100km/h in 3 seconds flat.
It looks a lot meaner as well – there’s a new face that includes a one-piece front fender and bonnet, a new front splitter, NACA air intakes, an air scoop, new rear diffuser, magnesium wheels and plenty of contrast yellow accents.
Plus, 75 percent of this supercar’s body panels are made out of carbon fibre. It also generates 53 percent more downforce than the Huracan Performante.
Mercedes-AMG E53 and the E63 S
The AMG-tuned E-Class will be offered in E53 and E63 S avatars, with the latter locking horns with the recently-launched M5 Competition.
The E53, which is coming to India for the first time, is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol engine that’s paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system to produce a total output of 423bhp and 520Nm.
The E63 S upgrades to a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol that generates 604bhp and a monstrous 850Nm. Both models use a 9-speed automatic transmission and Merc’s 4Matic AWD system.
