Mahindra XUV700 to debut on August 14
Being vigorously tested for almost forever now, the long-awaited Mahindra XUV700 will finally debut on August 14. Mind you, it’s still a reveal, not a launch.
The XUV700 will be positioned slightly above the XUV500 and will be the most premium offering from Mahindra, yes, even more premium than the failed Alturas G4, which is rumoured to be axed soon. Also, the XUV500 will be temporarily retired from our market until an all-new version of the same is ready for launch in early 2024.
The main talking point of the Mahindra XUV700 will be the kind of equipment it offers – a dual-screen dashboard layout, pop-out door handles, driver fatigue alert system, panoramic sunroof, Amazon Alexa integration, you name it!
It is also expected to be the most powerful SUV in its segment. Rumors suggest that it will be powered by either a 185hp diesel engine or a 197hp petrol engine! Both automatic and manual transmissions will be on offer as well.
This will also be the first vehicle to proudly flaunt Mahindra’s new logo which will eventually be placed on the company’s entire SUV portfolio.
