MediaTek Dimensity 920, Dimensity 810 chipsets official
MediaTek has revealed two new 5G-capable mobile chipsets, namely the Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810.
The MediaTek Dimensity 920 features a 6nm architecture that features one set each of Arm Cortex-A78 and Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores. The A78s are clocked at 2.5GHz, while the A55s are clocked at 2.0GHz.
Coming to GPU, you’ll find a Arm Mali-G68 MC4 here that’s claimed to offer up to 9 percent superior gaming performance versus the Dimensity 900.
There is also support for LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 2.1 and UFS 3.1 storage. The connectivity suite is pretty robust as well – you get support for Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NavIC, et al.
The Dimensity 920 SoC also supports up to 120Hz displays with a max resolution of 2,560×1,080 pixels. It also supports a single 108MP camera or two 20MP sensors.
The Mediatek DImensity 810 is also a 6nm SoC that comes with one set each of Arm Cortex-A55 and Arm Cortex-A76 CPU cores. The GPU here is the Arm Mali-G57 MC2.
Its connectivity suite and display support are the same as that of the Dimensity 910, but, on the camera front, it can process a single 64MP camera sensor or dual 16MP sensors.
