MG Hector bookings reopen; price increased
- The incredibly successful MG Hector, whose bookings were closed in July due to strong initial demand, is now again available to book.
- MG will increase the production capacity of its Halol plant in by November to cope up with the demand. As of now, Hector’s average waiting time is said to be around 3-4 months.
- There’s a twist, though. Hector is now dearer by Rs 30,000-40,000 depending on the variant chosen. There will likely be another price increase next year when the SUV’s engines will be upgraded as per BSVI standards.
- In the coming months, MG India will expand its lineup with the all-electric ZS EV and the 7-seat version of the Hector.
