New entry-level iPad 10.2 unveiled
- The iPad seventh-generation has gone official as the new entry-level tablet offering from Apple. Its price in India will start at Rs 29,990.
- The biggest update to the new iPad is its larger 10.2-inch Retina display of 2160 x 1620 resolution and 500-nit peak brightness.
- Like its predecessor, the iPad 10.2 supports Apple Pencil (first-gen), but that has to be purchased separately. It also gets a pogo pin smart connector for the optional Smart Keyboard.
- In other areas, not much has changed. The device continues to be powered by the A10 Fusion SoC and comes with 32GB/ 128GB of internal storage options.
- The iPad 10.2 is based on Apple’s previous-gen design language, but that’s a good thing actually since it still offers a physical fingerprint scanner as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
