Nokia 2.2 budget smartphone launched in India
- HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2.2 in India, which is priced between Rs 6,999-7,999. Despite its low price tag, it runs on Android One (with promised Android Q update), and not the lesser Android Go.
- The phone comes with a 5.7-inch IPS panel of HD+ resolution. There’s a waterdrop notch on the phone that houses its 5MP front camera.
- The main camera is a 13MP f/2.2 sensor with an LED flash. Since it’s an affordable phone, there’s no secondary rear camera.
- The Nokia 2.2 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC which comes mated to either 2GB or 3GB of RAM along with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
- The battery capacity of the Nokia 2.2 is 3,000mAh. The phone has no fingerprint reader, but there’s a dedicated Google Assistant button if it matters at all.
