Nokia G20 Android One smartphone launched in India
The new Nokia G20 has been launched in India at Rs 12,999. It will be sold via Amazon India but the first sale date of this smartphone is yet to be announced.
Powered by the low-end MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, the G20 is offered in only one configuration – 4GB/64GB.
The main highlight of this new phone is its Android One affiliation which means that it runs on stock Android 11 with no bloatware. Nokia is promising 2 years of major Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates on this phone which is super impressive at this price.
The battery capacity of the new Nokia G20 is also quite impressive at 5050mAh. However, it recharges only at 10W via a USB-C port.
What’s not-so-impressive is the display. The phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ panel with a V-shaped notch which houses its 8MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth units.
