Ola electric scooter launch on August 15
Ola has generated some real hype with its upcoming debut product. Now, the Ola electric scooter is confirmed to launch on August 15, possibly to intensify the ‘Indian’ sentiment, because that’s the trend nowadays.
Ola is said to have recently filed trademarks for Series S, Series S1, and Series S1 Pro monikers, which may be the variants the scooter will be offered in.
The home-brewed company aims to set up 5,000 charging points across 100 Indian cities within the first year of the scooter’s launch which is quite an ambitious objective.
The scooter will be manufactured at Ola’s electric vehicle facility in Tamil Nadu. It can be booked on the company’s website for a token amount of Rs 500.
Anyway, the Ola electric scooter has managed to grab everyone’s attention because of its minimalist yet futuristic look with eye-catching 10 colours on offer which vary between both matt and glossy textures.
The upcoming EV is said to have a range of 100-150 km and will offer features such as a removable lithium-ion battery, digital instrument console, cloud connectivity, alloy wheels, et al.
