OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro specs out
A new leak puts forward what is allegedly the full spec sheet of the much-anticipated OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Both devices will be officially revealed on May 14.
- Screen: The standard OnePlus 7 will have a 6.2-inch notched display of FHD+ resolution. The OnePlus 7 Pro will have a 6.64-inch truly bezel-less display (possibly curved on both sides) of QHD+ resolution. As always, both screens will be AMOLED.
- Dimensions: The OnePlus 7 will measure 57.7 mm x 74.8 mm x 8.1 mm, while the Pro will measure 162.6 mm x 76 mm x 8.8 mm.
- RAM: The leak suggests the standard model’s RAM will start at 6GB, however, there will likely be an 8GB option as well. The Pro will have a starting RAM capacity of 10GB, but we can expect a 12GB variant too.
- Rear cameras: The vanilla version will feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary lens and a telephoto secondary lens. The OnePlus 7 Pro will have triple rear cameras which include both the cameras from the standard model plus an ultra wide-angle sensor.
- Front camera: Both phones will have a single front camera. The resolution is not known but the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a Vivo V15-like mechanical pop-up mechanism for this camera. The standard model will house the front sensor inside its notch.
- Battery: The standard model will have a 4,150mAh battery while the Pro will feature a slightly smaller 4,000mAh unit. Both will feature the 30W Warp fast charging tech that debuted on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.
- Shared specs: Both phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC. They’ll have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will run on Android 9.0 Pie with Oxygen OS out of the box.
