The OnePlus Nord 2 price in India is set at Rs 27,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 34,999 for the top-end 12GB/256GB variant. It will go on sale from July 26, but the base 6GB RAM variant will only be available to buy in August.
The most significant update on the Nord 2 is its primary camera. It now consists of a new 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor, the same one that’s found on the OnePlus 9 Pro. OIS also comes standard.
While the rear ultra-wide 8MP camera remains, the Nord 2 deletes the rear macro camera and the ultra-wide selfie camera that was found on its predecessor. The front camera has also been upgraded to 32MP resolution.
Powering this new smartphone is the Dimensity 1200 SoC, which, interestingly, locks horns with the Snapdragon 870 SoC that’s found on the much more expensive OnePlus 9R. You get 6/8/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1.
On the display front, the OnePlus Nord 2 rocks a 6.43-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate. But, the hole punch is now smaller because there’s only one camera up front. The battery is rated at 4,500mAh and OnePlus’ 65W Warp Charge comes standard here.
OnePlus Buds Pro
The OnePlus Buds Pro price in India is yet to be revealed. However, in Europe, these will cost EUR 150 (~Rs 13,100).
Featuring an AirPods Pro like design, the OnePlus Buds Pro have a two-tone finish with a matte upper part and glossy stem. Two colours are on offer – black and white.
The Buds Pro come with 11mm drivers with support for Dolby Atmos. These buds use Bluetooth 5.2 for pairing and the latency level is pretty low at a claimed 94ms (only for OnePlus phones).
The OnePlus Buds Pro come with active noise cancellation (ANC). The buds also have a Zen Mode Air, which has white noises to reduce stress. These settings can be tweaked using the companion HeyMelody app.
The battery life here is rated at an impressive 10 hours per earbud without ANC and a total of 33 hours along with the charging case. Using Warp Charge, users can get 10 hours of playback in just 10 minutes of charging. The case also supports Qi wireless charging.
