OnePlus Nord launched at Rs 24,999
- The much-hyped OnePlus Nord has been launched in India at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant Rs 27,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 29,999 for the top-end 12GB/246GB variant.
- OnePlus’ first mid-range smartphone since the unsuccessful OnePlus X from 2015, the Nord sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ flat Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. It’s also the first OnePlus with a pill-shaped screen punch-hole which houses 32MP main + 8MP ultra-wide selfie cameras.
- Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Nord gets LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
- The OnePlus Nord is backed up by a 4,115mAh battery that supports the company’s proprietary Warp Charge 30T fast charging tech over USB-C. Fast charging is not offered here.
- The quad-rear camera setup of this phone is quite similar to that of the OnePlus 8. There’s a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.75 lens & OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with FoV of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro shooter and a 5MP depth sensor.
- Camera features include UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, Super Macro, Pro Mode, Portrait, AI scene detection and RAW Image. The main rear camera also supports 4K video recording at 30 fps and 1080p at 30/60 fps.
- Offered in two colour options – Blue Marble and Gray Onyx – the OnePlus Nord will go on sale from August 4 via Amazon and OnePlus.in. However, the base 6GB/64GB version will only arrive in September.
