OnePlus Pad may soon launch as the company’s first tablet
A new EUIPO trademark filing confirms the existence of the OnePlus Pad, a kind of name that would only suit a tablet. The trademark was filed on July 1 by OnePlus Technology Shenzhen.
Absolutely nothing else is known about this mystery device as of now. In fact, it is not even confirmed if this product will ever see the light of the day.
However, if the OnePlus Pad is indeed a soon to be launched tablet, then it is surely inspired by suddenly surging tablet sales in this current work from home era where offices and schools are attended remotely via Zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams.
It also marks the possibility of the OnePlus Pad being a relatively affordable device with basics covered so that it appeals to a wide audience.
Anyhow, regardless of the OnePlus Pad’s existence, the company is expected to launch the OnePlus 8T with a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and a Hasselblad-branded 108MP quad-rear camera setup.
