Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar breaks cover
- Famed Italian design house Automobili Pininfarina – which is owned by Mahindra – has digitally revealed the Battista hypercar ahead of its Geneva debut.
- It’s the debut model by a company which, until now, has designed models only for other brands. The Battista, with its 1,874 bhp (1,397 kW) of max power and 2,300 Nm of peak torque, is the most powerful Italian car ever and it aims directly at the Bugatti Chiron.
- According to Pininfarina the Battista can dismiss the 0-100 km/h sprint in under 2 seconds and can attain a top speed of 350 km/h.
- Its Rimac-sourced 120 kWh battery pack is claimed to provide an estimated 450 km range on a full charge.
- Based on a full carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, the Pininfarina Battista features an all-wheel drive setup with individual motors powering. Then, the AWD system is further supported by a torque-vectoring system.
- Only 150 units of this outrageous piece of electric mobility will ever be produced. The hypercar will be sold in the key markets in Europe, North America, Middle East, and Asia.
