Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro official with Google’s in-house Tensor SoC
Google’s Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are official after months of leaks and a few weeks of teasers. The new Pixels are a significant upgrade over last year’s mid-range hardware, with top-tier specifications focused on performance, AI, and photography.

Later this year, Google will work with Snap to deliver a feature dubbed ‘Quick Tap to Snap,’ which will allow users to record Snaps for Snapchat even while the phone is locked and in ‘Camera Only’ mode. Snapchat will also release specific augmented reality (AR) lenses to improve pictures with artefacts.
Magic Eraser is a function on this phone that lets you erase undesirable persons and objects from a processed shot. Motion Mode, which includes preset Action Pan and Long Exposure settings, and Real Tone, which claims to employ software algorithms to provide true colours, are among the preloaded features. Face Unblur and Manual white balance are two of Google’s unique camera-focused features on the phone.
Google has included a 4,614mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging and 21W wireless fast charging. The Pixel 6 also has a Battery Share function that allows users to charge other devices wirelessly.
Google Pixel 6 Pro specifications

Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro price
The standard Pixel 6 carries a super impressive starting price of USD 599 which makes it quite a stellar value for money deal, at least on paper. The Pro starts at USD 899, which is still cheaper than competing Ultra and Max smartphones.
Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro India launch date
Google has not confirmed if the new Pixel series will launch in India. The company gave up on its premium phones in India after the Pixel 3 series, so it may be likely that the new phones will never come to our shores, quite a shame if true!
