Pixel 6a key specifications leaked
The Google Pixel 6a is scheduled to be the company’s next mid-range phone, and it’ll be available in a few months.
The upcoming phone has been the subject of various leaks and rumours, and now we have a Geekbench listing that discloses its CPU and RAM specifications.
Google Pixel 6a would, according to the listing, employ the same chipset as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, following Apple’s lead with the SE range.
Also, the phone’s design, which is identical to the Google Pixel 6, has previously been exposed in leaked renderings.
Pixel 6a specifications (expected)
The 6a has been featured on benchmarking website Geekbench, indicating that a release date is imminent. According to a recent source, the phone would be released before the end of Q1 2022.
According to the listing, the more affordable 6a would be equipped with the same Tensor chipset which was created in-house by the firm for the more expensive phones.
There are four performance cores and four efficiency cores in the CPU. It has a Mali-G78 GPU and 6GB of RAM, according to the leaked specifications.
Although the CPU is the same as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Google has lowered the RAM on the 6a – the Pixel 6 has 8GB RAM, while the Pixel 6 Pro has 12GB RAM.
The phone will run Android 12 out of the box, according to the Geekbench listing, which is the most recent stable Android release.
The mid-range Google Pixel 6a is expected to sport a dual-rear camera configuration, according to previous rumours and reports.

The smartphone is expected to employ the older 12MP sensors from the Pixel 5 range, rather than the improved and new sensors seen in the Pixel 6.
A flat 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an 8-megapixel front camera is also predicted.
Anyway, we expect the 6a to be launched in India. Google has not launched any smartphone in our country since the Pixel 4a, and the 6a might change that for good.
