Poco F3 GT with Dimensity 1200 SoC, Dolby Atmos speakers to launch in India on July 23
Poco is finally moving away from its love of budget smartphones and planning to re-enter the category of flagship killers, something it did with the original Poco F1.
The new Poco F3 GT is confirmed to launch in India on July 23. As per speculations, it will basically be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition which debuted earlier this year in China. So, you shouldn’t be surprised since rebranding is all Poco has done since it became ‘independent’.
Aesthetically, the F3 GT is confirmed to sport a matt finish rear panel along with an aluminium alloy frame.
It is expected to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Then, its display would be a 10-bit AMOLED panel with a fast 120Hz screen refresh rate, HDR 10+, and DC Dimming.
Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos certification is also confirmed.
When launched, the Poco F3 GT is expected to start at around Rs 30,000. It will lock horns with the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 which is also being launched with a Dimensity 1200 chip.
