Realme 5i launched at 8,999
- Realme has launched the new Realme 5i in India at Rs 8,999. To make things a bit easier for buyers, the standard Realme 5 is being discontinued. So, from now on, only the Realme 5i and Realme 5s will be up for sale.
- The only new thing that the 5i brings to the table is that Sunlight pattern on its plastic rear panel, which has been made possible thanks to a specialised machine which takes 10 hours to polish.
- Only one storage variant of this smartphone will be sold – 4GB/ 64GB. A Snapdragon 665 SoC provides the processing power here.
- The display on the Realme 5i is 6.52-inch HD+ panel with 20:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop notch. Battery backup is supplied by a 5,000mAh cell.
- The rear camera setup of this smartphone consists of 12MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth-sensing units. Selfies are taken care of by an 8MP front camera.
