Realme 8i, Realme 8s launched in India
The Realme 8i price in India is Rs 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB storage option. The phone is also available in a 6GB/128GB storage combination for Rs 15,999.
The Realme 8s 5G price in India is set at Rs 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB storage option and Rs 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB storage variant.
From September 14, the Realme 8i will be available in Space Black and Space Purple, while the Realme 8s 5G will be available in Universe Blue and Universe Purple from September 13. Both phones will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart, Realme.com, and major offline stores.
Realme 8i specifications
The Realme 8i boasts a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,412 pixels) display with a 90.80% screen-to-body ratio, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Dragontrail Pro protection. The display has a brightness range of 600 nits to 1 nit, with 1 nit being the lowest. It also features a dynamic refresh rate of 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz, with six distinct settings. Furthermore, the Realme 8i’s display has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
Powering it is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, which was released in July. It offers up to 6GB of LPDDR4x memory. The phone’s 6GB RAM version also has 5GB Virtual RAM, which improves multitasking by using the phone’s free storage.

The Realme 8i boasts a triple rear camera arrangement, which includes a 50MP main Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 2MP monochrome portrait sensor, and a 2MP sensor with a macro lens.
The smartphone has a 16MP front-facing selfie camera sensor that enables AI-powered beautifying capabilities, HDR mode, portrait mode, and a ‘Panoselfie’ feature that is said to assist take broader selfies.
It has up to 128GB of internal storage and can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 256GB) via a dedicated slot. 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and an outdated micro-USB port are among the connectivity possibilities.
An accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side. The Realme 8i comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging.
Realme 8s specifications
Realme 8s 5G boasts a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. The phone’s display has a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which was released last month, powers the Realme 8s 5G. The chip is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and the Realme 8s 5G, like the Realme 8i, supports 5GB Virtual RAM.
The Realme 8s 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens for photos and videos. A 2MP monochrome portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens are also included.
For selfies and video chats, the Realme 8s 5G has a 16MP selfie camera sensor with an f/2.1 lens on the front.
The Realme 8s 5G comes with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage as standard, which can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot. 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities.

The 5,000mAh battery of the Realme 8s 5G supports 33W Dart Charge fast charging (an 11V/ 3A charger is supplied in the package). The phone weighs 191 kilos and dimensions 162.5×74.8×8.8mm.
