Realme 8s, Realme 8i detailed in a new leak
The Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i will be released in India on September 9. The company will also release two Bluetooth speakers and its debut tablet, the Realme Pad, on the same day.
A new leak for both Realme smartphones has appeared online, revealing some crucial features. Debayan Roy (@gadgetsdata), a tipster, has provided several crucial specifications regarding the Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i.
Realme 8s
Onboard storage on the Realme 8s 5G will be up to 128GB. A 64MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors are likely to make up the triple back camera system. The hole-punch cutout of the purported 90Hz refresh rate display allegedly features a 16MP selfie camera.
There’s also a chance it’ll have a fingerprint scanner on the side. Its 5,000mAh battery may be capable of rapid charging thanks to 33W Dart Charge tech.

The Realme 8s will use the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC which comes with up to 8GB of RAM and a new ‘Dynamic RAM Expansion’ function that looks to leverage the storage to increase the RAM, allowing for up to 11GB total in the 6GB RAM variant and 13GB total in the 8GB RAM model.
Realme 8i
The MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, which was hinted at separately via a Twitter discussion between Realme and MediaTek, is confirmed on the Realme 8i’s own microsite. The website also touts a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz display refresh rate as well as a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The leak also reveals that the Realme 8i may have up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It may also receive up to 10GB of Dynamic RAM expansion.
In its hole-punch cutout, the Realme 8i is believed to have a 16MP selfie sensor. A 50MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors are believed to be included in its triple back camera. A 5,000mAh battery will allegedly come standard as well.
