Realme enters laptop segment with Realme Book Slim
After launching a million smartphones three years since its inception, Realme is now officially into laptops with the new Realme Book Slim.
The Realme Book Slim price in India is Rs 46,999 for the Core i3 8GB/256GB storage configuration and Rs 59,999 for the Core i5 8GB/512GB storage option. As an introductory offer, the company is offering Rs 2,000 off on the lower variant and Rs 3,000 off on the higher one.
Offered in two colours – Real Blue and Real Grey – this new laptop from BBK Electronics will go on sale from August 30 through Flipkart, Realme.com, and leading retail stores.
The display on the Realme Book Slim series is a 14-inch IPS panel with an impressive 2K (2,160×1,440 pixels) resolution. This 3:2 panel also a claimed max brightness of 400 nits. The laptop’s screen-to-body ratio is claimed to be 90 percent.
On the software front, you get Windows 10 with an assured free update to Windows 11 later this year.
The i3 variant comes with Intel UHD integrated graphics while the i5 version comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics. There is no version with a dedicated graphics card.
Featuring a backlit keyboard, the Realme Book Slim also has WiFi 6, Bluetooth, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port (i5 variant only), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme claims that this laptop can last up to 11 hours on a single charge. It supports 65W which can charge 50 percent of its battery in just 30 minutes. The bundled charger also supports Realme’s 30W Dart Charge technology that’s standard on most Realme phones.
