Realme V5 official as the cheapest 5G smartphone
- The Realme V5 has been revealed in China and it is priced between CNY1,499-1,899 (~Rs 16,000-20,400).
- It is powered by the recently-revealed 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset which features two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, all clocked at 2 GHz. It also supports 5G, which makes it the V5’s USP.
- The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with 20:9 ratio, 90 Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a hole punch for the 16MP front camera.
- The quad-rear camera setup here is a standard affair. You get a 48MP f/1.8 main snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing.
- There’s also a big 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging on the Realme V5.
