Realme launches Dizo GoPods D, Wireless Neckband earbuds in India
So, Oppo is a brand of China-based BBK Electronics which formed a sub-brand called Realme in 2018. In 2019, Realme became independent and in May this year, this former sub-brand announced its own sub-brand for phone accessories called Dizo. Now, Dizo has launched its first two products in India.
If you’ve read the first paragraph enough times to understand what’s going on, know that there’s more. Dizo’s new Bluetooth earbuds will co-exist in the market with Realme’s earbuds.
The new earbuds in question are Dizo GoPods D (Rs 1,599) and Dizo Wireless Neckband (Rs 1,499). Both devices will sell at a discount of Rs 200 during their first sales on Flipkart.
Dizo GoPods D
These have a Realme Buds Q2-like design with each earbud weighing just 4.1g. There is also an IPX4 rating for added ruggedness.
The GoPods D have a claimed battery life of up to 5 hours per earbud on a single charge which moves up to a combined life of 20 hours with the case’s battery. A 10-minute charge is claimed to give nearly 2 hours of usage.
For gamers, there’s a 110ms low latency gaming mode here. For a better calling experience, these buds also sport environmental noise cancellation.
Using Bluetooth 5.0 and instant connection technology, these buds have touch controls for media playback and accepting/rejecting calls.
Dizo Wireless Neckband
The Dizo Wireless Neckband features Magnetic Fast Pair technology so that users can switch them on/off by just attaching the buds magnetically. When the buds are detached, these instantly connect to the smartphone.
Realme claims that the Bass Boost+ algorithm on these buds has been specially tuned by audio engineers and experts. These have 11.2mm audio drivers. There’s an 88ms low-latency gaming mode as well.
The device is claimed to give up to 17 hours of music playback per charge and 2 hours of use after a 10-minute recharge. There’s also an IPX4 rating for gym and sports lovers.
